First, you have to take in account that this game only works online, so you will need WiFi, 2G or 3G to run it. It works properly in the three ways, getting low ping and no lag. What's more, it has to be said that this is a MMORPG, that means that there isn't a final goal beyond the need to level up by fighting and completing missions.

There are 3 kind of characters you can choose: archer, warrior and mage. Each one has its specific skills and abilities, weapons and armor (there are lots of them to customize your character to your taste and to equipped it to face the challenges of each level).

There are hundreds of missions. It's really impressive that amount of missions in a mobile phone game because so often the mobiles games are thought as timewasters. As your character levels up, the missions difficulty also increases, but it does it progressively, what makes the game high playable even for those users who have never played a MMORPG.

As the most of MMORPG, the progress is based on an Experience Points system, that allows you to level up and improve the skills of your character.

The game displays in horizontal, set in cool 3D graphics with no lag in the most of the Android devices (we've tried in some of the newest and in some tablets). The controls are a screen joypad to move on the left side, and a button to attack, select characters or catch items on the right side. You have chat and to improve levels, besides the missions, you will have to make parties to fight against enemies (it implies a fighting group of characters with different jobs).

You will find on your way by Alterra (Pocket Legends' world) some players that comes from iOS, since the game has integrated both platforms. The game is completely free for Android (before had to pay for some missions, but not anymore).

If you have an extra-battery it's time to use it, because the game drains battery as you have never seen before. What's more, it's better if you play it over WiFi, since it updates always before starting the game, and download some extra data batches.

Pocket Legends has been developed by Spacetime Studios. This is the only game they've launched on the Android Market so far, but they're being really successful with it. Pocket Legends has been successful on iOS before breaking into the Android Market.

This is one of the best games for Android, despite its little catches. It's also a risky bet since the most successful Android games has been timewasters and this is a complete MMORPG. Even though it seems a bit weird to play this kind of games in a mobile phone at the beginning, it could become one of the greatest experience.
