Are you missing those days you spent in the arcades? With Guerrilla Bob on your Android, you’ll be transported back, and this time there’s no need to insert a coin!

You're a guerrilla called Bob whose main aim is to survive by taking down enemies that want to see you dead. The only way to achieve this is by killing them, using a variety of weapons: machine guns, time-bombs, molotov cocktails, grenade launchers... and many more. You’ll have to collect money from the enemies and use it to buy weaponry in the shop. You’ll control Bob thanks to a joypad on the touchscreen which has an ok response, but it’s not perfect. It's a bit complicated to get the hang of it.

There are different game modes: Story Campaign, split into Arcade mode, where Bob fights for fame, and Mercenary mode , where Bob fights for fortune. The Classic Survival Mode is the classical endless enemy stage. In Wave Attack Mode you’ll fight against waves of baddies and Bob can access the shop to buy weaponry. You’ll unlock areas and power-ups as you advance through levels. You can also choose between two difficulty levels: easy and hard.

Guerrilla Bob is set in stunning, cartoon-like, 3D graphics. It works well in most of the latest devices with Android 2.2 and later. Games like this one make upgrading worthwhile. Old devices have no chance.

Apart from the graphics, its main strength is that Guerrilla Bob has a multiplayer mode that uses Open Feint to play against Android and iOS users. You can also play CO-OP multiplayer using local Wi-Fi and join forces with your friends to overcome enemies. This really increases the playability of the game. What's more, you can share your scores in single player mode on the OpenFeint leaderboards.

If you have any trouble during installation, please follow the steps in the developer description on the market (an example of how it should be). This is the lite version which is free, where you won't be able to play all the modes, or unlock all the weapons. If you want, you can upgrade to the paid version for $2.99.

Guerrilla Bob has been developed by Angry Mob Games, an emerging video game developer focused on cross-platform and online games. They've only launched two games so for, Guerrilla Bob in both iOS and Android and Predator in iOS.

Just one more thing: after the initial download there is a second much longer one. So don’t expect to play immediately.

If you have a new device able to support the technical requirements, you simply must give this one it a try. It mixes great graphics with addictive gameplay and variety of game modes (including multiplayer). For us, these are the three ingredients that make the recipe for success.

The story mode levels offer non-stop action with numerous gameplay twists plus exploration to discover hidden areas, secret Power-Ups and bonus items!

EPIC BOSS FIGHTS
The gateway to each new level is guarded by imposing boss enemies with uniquely powerful weapons and tactics. You will even have to face John Gore himself (from MiniGore fame)!

A VARIETY OF GAMEPLAY MODES
Dive into the Story Campaign where Guerilla Bob fights through dangerous canyons, steep deserts and dreadful towns. The story mode is split into Arcade mode, where Bob fights for fame, and Mercenary mode, where Bob fights for fortune. OPENFEINT LEADERBOARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Players can see how they compare to the best digital soldiers in the world via a comprehensive scoring system, online leaderboards and achievements through OpenFeint!

CROSS-PLATFORM MULTIPLAYER
Guerrilla Bob features CO-OP Multiplayer using local Wi-Fi. Players can join forces to overcome the toughest bosses, balance their equipped weapons and help each other out when in trouble.
Using Cross-Platform Multiplayer, players will be able to connect a Mac, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, PC and Android device.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you’re having trouble during the installation, please follow these steps:
1. Uninstall Guerrilla Bob
2. Unmount the SD card
3. Clear the Marketplace cache and data in the Applications Manager
4. Install Guerrilla Bob again
5. Mount the SD card back
6. Move the game to the SD card, if you wish

Samsung Galaxy S users only: Guerrilla Bob requires Android 2.2 or above. Please try to upgrade… it’s totally worth it!
